clap, wave

within the last week, Ezekiel has started clapping. i keep encouraging with him and yesterday, he clapped without me prompting him right after i put him in the car. i was so excited, i joined him and then realized i looked like an idiot standing there in the rain clapping. then today, Ezekiel pushed to button on a barn marry-go-round thing he has and i normally clapped with the music and today he did it on his own while i wasn't paying attention. but then i saw him doing it out of the corner of my eye and so i joined him. it was so awesome!
we've been working on waving, but he hasn't quite attached the hand motion with me saying "bye-bye" yet. he likes looking at his hands opening and closing. when i start waving, it takes him a minute, but then he'll start doing it to himself. normally when we're saying "bye-bye" to someone, he doesn't catch on fast enough and we leave before he does it. it'll come though.
