Sunday, we went to an Atlantic coast beach. Ezekiel got to take his nap in Sarah Grace's swing. he was sooo tired.
i didn't get the camera fast enough to get a picture of the watermelon eating, but here's the after-photo.
Ezekiel was kind of scared of the sand, at least, he didn't know what to think of it. he didn't walk much in it unless someone was holding his hand. before we left though, he filled up a cup and kept drinking sand out of it, yuck.

the plan was for all the family to meet at the beach: Liz's parents, Richard and Janice, Liz's brother Tim, his wife Michelle, and their kids: Matthew, Olivia, Breanna, and Sarah, Liz's brother Jonathan, his wife Julie, and their daughter, Rosemary, and Liz's brother Zach, Liz and Ezekiel. once we'd been there for a hour or so, people started showing up. first Joel and Ginger and their kids, along with Josiah, then Rachel and the rest of the Claerbouts, then Dawn and Scott and their kids. it ended up quite a beach party and so much fun.
Monday or Tuesday we had dinner at Tim and Michelle's and Ezekiel loved the corn.
