coat rack

Liz has been wanting to make a coat rack on which Ezekiel can hang his jackets. he normally either hands them to me, saying, "please, please, please, " wanting me to take it off his hands, or he just leaves it on the floor or a chair. so now she's made one.
i used scrap wood from one of Joel's many projects and then bought the pegs at Home Depot. (such a great place...i spent a while just roaming and found so many things i didn't know they carried.) so i thought this design would be simple enough for him to get his coats and hats hung, big pegs spread far apart, on his level, etc, and it's just my style, simple with straight lines. Ezekiel thought it was pretty neat.

getting to do it himself. he's so in that stage now that he wants to do things for himself.

there's no finish or anything; i figure Joel can do that when he finds the time or maybe when he's finishing another of his woodworking projects. i even countersunk the screws so they'd be flush with the surrounding wood.
