4th'o July parade

instead of candy, one float threw magnifying glasses that the kids didn't quite know what to do with. first they tried to eat them, then we told them to hold them up to their eye. it was funny.
mmm, milk.
Ezekiel was really good at running out and getting the candy once he got the hang of it. he would even go to our neighboring parade watchers and pick up the candy they didn't want, lol.
candy, wrapper, and all.

doesn't quite taste like the ones in the front yard. but maybe that's b/c the plastic's still on.
we walked down to the parade with Kelly, Caleb who's sittin' with Mary, Patrick's sister, Mary's husband, Jeremy, and their two friends. Joel and Patrick went crabbing early in the morning and weren't back until the parade was almost over.
