eating dirt

Ian army-crawled all the way across the kitchen floor to the sliding glass door and started eating the dirt that was in the threshold, so gross. as soon as i saw what he was doing, i brought him outside so we could all be together in the backyard, but then he started eating everything he could reach and crawl to.
