go-karts

last night we went to the drive-in early so i could drive the go-karts. we bought a three-ride armband and Ezekiel went with me the first and last times. the first time he was surprised with how bumpy the ride was and how loud the engines were. he cried, but by acting overly excited and enthusiastic, he calmed down and almost enjoyed the rest of the ride, but vehemently refused to go with me for my second time. then for the last ride i kind of convinced him and he enjoyed waving at Daddy and i think he said, "go faster, Mommy," a few times and maybe "yeehaw" or "whoo-hoo" like i'd told him while we were waiting in line. after that ride, he was upset to leave the track and kept saying, "i don't want to watch the movie; i want to ride in the car."
