free cold treats!

a local ice cream place was giving out free single-scoop waffle cones if you came out in your pajamas. i couldn't miss that. it was Ian's first cone. both boys loved having their own and it was so cute. but we ate outside on a bench and the boys were mostly clean before we got back in the car. one mom asked her daughter if she wanted to finish her cone in the car and i just cringed, lol.
i got a regular-size waffle cone. Zeke got to pick between a sugar cone and the kind of waffle cone you can buy at a grocery store. he picked the sugar kind, the kind i think of as square, cuz they're flat on the bottom.
Zeke wanted a candy ice cream, with M&Ms in it (he'd seen it on a picture), but they didn't have that one. he got mint chocolate chip. i got Ian cake batter, b/c i wanted to try it and it wouldn't be so messy.
they gave Ian a baby one, perfect size for him. he still helped me eat mine though.


Ezekiel got these sunglasses at Ben Siebert's first b-day party last Saturday. he lost one lens, so i took out the other one and he wears them all day long! lol
